Teddington Athletic FC held their annual awards ceremony at St Mary’s College, Twickenham, on Sunday.

It was a successful year for the club, with its U12s winning the Intermediate Cup, while the U10s, U11s, U12s and U12s colts all finishing as runners-up in their respective divisions.

Each squad member also received a medal for their contribution to their team.

Club chairman Philip Lee said: “Everyone should be proud of their achievements and contributions towards the continued success of the club.

"The club was founded in 2005 to provide competitive football for local youngsters and we’ve seen it grow in just four years from two to ten teams, ranging from under 8’s to under 14s, with a total of 160 players.

"We welcome all abilities and pride ourselves on our friendliness.

"Moreover, good sportsmanship, commitment, fairplay and loyalty are central to the Club's ethos. We are also lucky to play on beautiful pitches at Teddington Cricket Club in Bushy Park and St Mary’s College grounds in Broom Road Teddington.
