Leafe turned: Bobby Traynor takes control against Whyteleafe with support from scorer Dean Lodge Deadlinepix Amy Weston SP20489
Skipper Simon Sobihy believes Kingstonian owe manager Alan Dowson and thinks the best way to repay him is with a tilt at promotion.
Worthing's win at Walton Casuals on Saturday condemned Ks to another season in Ryman Division One South, before Dean Lodge secured a 1-0 triumph for Ks over Whyteleafe on Monday night.
Dowson has come in for criticism from some quarters of the Kingsmeadow faithful this season, and has shouldered the blame for his side's failure to make at least the play-offs.
Ks notched more than 50 per cent of this season's points tally from their first eight and last eight league games.
But 30-year-old Sobihy, ruled out by flu in recent weeks, has warned Ks they must prove they have the stomach to sustain a promotion bid.
"The players have let the management down big time and I think they all owe Alan, including myself," he said.

"It looked like we had got ourselves back in it, but the result at Chatham was an absolute disgrace and has ultimately cost us.
"Too many individual mistakes have cost us this season and we are kicking ourselves, because one or two more points would still see us in it.
"It has been a season of under-achievement.
"Maybe we peaked too soon and maybe players got in to a comfort zone.
"We need to challenge for the title for Alan's sake as much as anything else."
Remaining fixture: Apr 26 Eastbourne Tn (h).
* Children aged U16 will be admitted free to Saturday's game at Kingsmeadow. U12s must be admitted by an adult.
They are also welcome in the clubhouse before kick-off, where Chelsea's clash with Manchester United will be on the big screen
