Kingstonian full back Marcus Moody’s Kingsmeadow exit saw Ks collect three goals this week.
The defender quit the club on Friday having become frustrated at a lack of regular football in recent weeks, allowing boss Alan Dowson to make a move for striker Javlon Campbell.
Ironically, Moody scored for Ks in a 4-1 win over Thamesmead Town last month, the match in which Campbell – who scored a hat-trick in Monday’s league cup win over Walton & Hersham – caught the attention of his new boss.
“Marcus told me he wanted to leave, because he was not playing enough football,” said Dowson.
“That opened up a hole in my squad to get Javlon in. He is a bit raw, but is a quick learner and has pedigree.”
