Dean Inman has put pen-to-paper on a new 18-month contract at Hampton & Richmond to deter interest from Football League clubs.

The highly-rated defender signed the deal after Monday's disappointing 2-1 defeat to Staines Town.

Despite being only 21, Inman is closing in on 100 appearannces for the Beavers and his performances have been attracted interesr from higher up the football pyramid. "I'm happy about the new contract," he said.

"I've been here at Hampton & Richmond since I was 16 and I see it as my kind of club.

"I love playing for the club, I'm only 21 and 13 games from my 100th appearance.

"I'm looking forward to making that and that'll be a special day for me."
