Hampton & Richmond Borough Ladies’ U14s won by the odd goal in nine at the Beveree on Sunday and made history.
The Beavers’ youngsters, Surrey County Women and Girls League Division One’s second highest scorers, triumphed 5-4 over Molesey on the first ever Ladies’ Day at the Station Road stadium.
The two teams go head-to-head again this week in a League Cup clash at Molesey’s Wilderness home.
Sunday’s match was the curtain raiser to Hampton & Richmond Borough Ladies first team's Greater London Women’s Football League Division One 4-4 draw with Comets.
