Former Hampton & Richmond Borough skipper Billy Jeffreys has delivered a personal message of thanks to the club's fans after securing a permanent move to Slough Town.
The 25-year-old centre back was allowed to join the Rebels on loan last month by boss Alan Dowson and has impressed enough to land a deal with the Southern League outfit.
Jeffreys, a former Millwall trainee, switched to Station Road from Ashford Town in 2011 in the wake of legendary Beavers boss Alan Devonshire's departure to Braintree Town.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Steve McPherson and the rest of the board, as well as my managers, coaching team and players, along with all the hard working staff at Hampton," he said.
"Last, but not least, thanks to all the great supporters for their continued support over the past three years.
"I have decided to accept a permanent move to Slough Town, following a successful two game loan period.
"I really wish Hampton & Richmond Borough every success during this current season and into the future."
