The end of the season is fast approaching and the Ealing (Road) Comedies team has decided the time has come to launch the race for the much vaunted E(R)C Brentford player of the year award.

The gruesome twosome - Stuart & Will - have cast their eye over the highs and lows of the last nine months to come up with a few suggestions for those battling it out to be crowned top dog but, of course, it is entirely up to you who you vote for - any player who has represented BFC this season is eligible for the award.

Forget the other end of season gongs, this is the one they all really, really want and we are giving you, our E(R)C listeners, the opportunity to have your say.

The E(R)C duo's leading candidates are as follows:-

Charlie MacDonald - E(R)C regular, Brentford's leading goalscorer and possibly the hardest working striker in League One, not to mention the most 'potent'.
Richmond and Twickenham Times: Leon Legge

From the Ryman Leagues to League One in one easy step. A towering presence at the back since breaking into the team, and a top bloke to boot.
Richmond and Twickenham Times: Wojciech Szczesny
Wojciech Szczesny
Simply outstanding since arriving on loan from Arsenal. On top of that, who could forget his post-match antics against Colchester United?
Richmond and Twickenham Times: Myles Weston
Myles Weston
The goalscoring midfielder has been a thorn in the side of most defences this season. Brilliant young prospect.
Richmond and Twickenham Times: Ryan Dickson
Ryan Dickson
Could have played his last game for the Bees. Has been different class at left-back this year - when fit.
