Pre-season tours are just a jolly for the boys and a chance to get a few anecdotes on your room mates.
After a depressing trip last season to the west country hell hole that is Swindon, I am not too sad to report that I am unable to make the same trip for Brentford’s match against the Robins this weekend.

The close season is meant to be a break from the nerve-shredding stress of having to follow a football team but, thanks to the World Cup and England’s schizophrenic campaign, there is no respite from the nailbiting.
So, at last the World Cup is here. The first game kicks off today and we England supporters only have a few more hours to wait until our boys take to the field against the US of A on Saturday.
