Brentford boss confirms Osborne's Reading talks

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler has confirmed Championship side Reading are leading the chase to sign Bees defender Karleigh Osborne.

The 23-year-old centre back, out of contract in the summer and currently struggling with injury, has so far refused to sign a new deal at Griffin Park.

Rosler has insisted any transfer must be at the right price for the League One play-off chasers.

"There is strong interest from Reading, but as far as I am aware they are the only one," he said.

"We will wait and see whether we do a deal or not, but it has to be to the benefit of this football club."
