Brentford goalkeeper David Button bagged his first cleansheet of the season on Wednesday and then declared the standard had been set, writes Stuart Amos.
Goals from Marco Djuricin and Philipp Hofmann gave the Bees a 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers to hand head coach Lee Carsley his second win in as many matches.
“I’ve waited all season for the clean sheet,” said Button.
“When you get one of those you always give yourself a chance of winning the game.
“I wasn’t overly busy, but I thought everyone on the pitch was superb and we’ve set the standard for where we need to be.”
