Brentford academy director Osa Aibangee has tipped new signing Josh Laurent to be a first team star of the future.
The 19-year-old, signed from Premier League QPR for an undisclosed fee, agreed an 18 month development squad deal this week.
The Leytonstone-born youngster was a member of Rangers' U18 and U21 sides that reached the Professional Development League Two play-offs in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
And Aibangee reckons Laurent, who made 16 appearances for Conference Premier side Braintree Town last season, is one to watch.
"From our point of view it is great to have got Josh on board as we feel he is a player with a bright future," he told the club's website.
"In the short term Josh will strengthen the development squad, but in the medium term we see him as someone who will push on towards the first team."
