Hampton & Richmond Borough chairman Steve McPherson has paid up Jesse Kewley-Graham’s contract to get him off the books at the Beveree.

The 21-year-old signed for the Beavers last summer after his release from League Two Wycombe Wanderers, but has barely featured under new boss Alan Dowson.

McPherson, who is keen to help rebuild Dowson’s squad for a promotion tilt next term, had asked the midfielder to leave the club on loan for the remainder of his deal.

But with Kewley-Graham preferring to see out his contract the Hampton chairman agreed to pay up hi sagreement – a deal signed off on Tuesday.
