Former AFC Wimbledon star James Mulley notched the winner as he enjoyed his return to his old Kingsmeadow stomping ground on Monday with a 3-2 triumph for Braintree Town over Kingstonian.

Mulley's effort completed a fine comeback in the dying minutes of a game that saw his side 2-0 down after 32 minutes.

Ks opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Sam Page headed home a corner at the far post before Andre McCollin scored an excellent goal after cutting in from the right wing to fire home from a tight angle.

Braintree got one back with five minutes to go in the first half with a lovely chipped free-kick from Michael Bakore and the same player scored an equally good second goal with a turn and shot from close range in the 69th minute.

Just when it seemed the game would end in a draw, Braintree pressed one more time and Mulley got the winner with four minutes remaining, scooping home a shot from close range after a scramble.
