Dave Tarpey marked his Hampton & Richmond Borough return with two goals as the Beavers thrashed Carshalton Athletic 4-0 on Saturday.

Tarpey, making his first appearance since returning to the Beveree from Farnborough on New Year’s Day, was in top form on his comeback.

The comprehensive win was Hampton's third straight Ryman Premier victory – with Charlie Moone also notching his customary goal.

Tarpey and Moone helped the Beavers get off to the perfect start, setting each other up for first-half goals as the forward blew the Robins away before the break.

Tarpey’s second and a Ben Harris goal in the final minute - on his debut - added the gloss on a great afternoon in front of a good crowd of 379.
