Unbeaten Epsom & Ewell up to after three games

Epsom & Ewell saw off SCR Mole Valley on Saturday to make it three wins out of three, and to move into second place in the Combined Counties Premier Division.
The Salts wore down the challenge from the SCR side, who kept Epsom keeper Kieran Campbell busy in the latter stages of both halfs, to claim a 3-0 win on the road.
In the first half, Epsom took a while to get their passing game together and it was slightly against the run of play at the time when they took the lead in the 40th minute.
Robbie Burns lobbed a ball over into the space behind the full back, midfielder Alex McGregor latched on to the ball and finished confidently lobbing over the advancing keeper.
The second half saw Epsom more in control of the game and the lead was extended on 52 minutes when Kyle Hough slotted home the penalty given for him being brought down in the box.
He scored again on 70 when he benefitted from Natahan Ayling's skill and persistence in reaching the by-line and cutting back for a routine finish.
The task then for Lyndon Buckwell's men was to preserve their clean sheet and there were a couple of late scares.
Only the heroics of keeper Kieran Campbell prevented a Mole Valley goal as he dived bravely at the feet of a Mole Valley forward and saved a last minute penalty from top striker Phil Page given for a rash challenge in a crowded box.
The Salts trail the division leaders Windsor on goal difference.
They have much to look forward to in the coming week with away games at Camberley in the League (Tuesday) and the big FA Cup tie at Whyteleafe on Saturday.
