Brentford boss Uwe Rosler is waiting on Harry Forrester to sign on the dotted line – but he will not wait forever.

The out-of-contract midfielder has until the end of the weekend to make his decision.

Rosler is also waiting on Tom Adeyemi, who is yet to sign a new contract.

Speculation has also been rife surrounding the signing of Swindon Town’s Alan McCormack.

The midfielder told BBC Wiltshire this week that he was leaving the County Ground for Griffin Park – however, Rosler revealed that nothing concrete has been arranged.

While Rosler wants continuity in his squad, he is not willing to pander too long.

“Harry has not signed, but we are expecting an answer soon,” Rosler said.

“He has had enough time to think about his future and, if we don’t hear from him in the next few days, we will go ahead with alternatives.

“We wanted to offer Tom [Adeyemi] a new contract but he has not signed.”

There was better news for Rosler as Sam Saunders committed to the Bees for next season.

Rosler said: “There was never any doubt that Sam was committed to the club – he wanted to stay with us.

“We had to see what our budget would be and, although we’re still waiting on concrete numbers, we have more of an overview of what we can do.

“I want continuity and stability, and Sam is a good player with special qualities and he will be very valuable for us.

“He deserves the contract, and he has given a lot over the past two years and I am very happy to have him on board for next year.”
