Double hitman: Craig Dundas had Sutton United 2-0 ahead before the excitement began SP74515
Sutton United boss Paul Doswell almost did a Jose Mourinho when Harry Beautyman scored the last-gasp winner against Bromley.
The substitute struck in the final seconds on Tuesday night to seal a remarkable 4-3 win at Gander Green Lane - and sent Doswell running down the sideline to jump in celebration.
Craig Dundas had United 2-0 ahead before Bromley changed their formation with a double-substitution and fought back to lead 3-2.
However, skipper Jamie Stuart levelled and Sam Rents had a penalty saved before the dramatic conclusion.
Doswell said: "It was a great advert for football in the Blue Square South.
"My weekend had been ruined by our poor display at Havand & Waterlooville.
"I use the analogy that 90 per cent of football is crap. Driving in the rain to training, freezing cold, breaking down, motorway traffic and the 10 per cent is when you score last-minute winners and they don’t always come along.
"It just put the end on an excellent game of football and that was what my reaction was all about."
He added: "I must reiterate that I thought both teams contributed massively to a great game."
