Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Mark Harper reckoned his men deserved all three-points at Kingstonian on Saturday, despite playing an hour with 10-men.
 

Youngster Anson Cousins received his marching orders after just 30 minutes of Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Kingsmeadow, that prevented boss Alan Dowson’s men from sneaking in to the Ryman Premier League play off places at the start of 2013.
 

Hampton are without a league win since October and Harper – who has been given two more games by the club’s board to save his job – insisted his understrength side, minus the suspended Malvin Kamara and Darren Powell at the weekend, should have secured maximum points against a lacklustre Ks.
 

“It was a massive point for us in the circumstances and all credit for the lads for digging it out,” he said.
 

“Even with ten men I thought we had the opportunities to nick the game and we weren’t really tested.”
 

Kingstonian, whose game at Margate on Saturday fell foul of the weather, host Wealdstone this weekend looking to avenge a 5-2 defeat earlier in the season.
 

Dowson will be keen to see his men back to winning ways after the 4-1 Boxing Day defeat to Jimmy Cooper’s Met Police, a loss inspired by former midfielder Sam Clayton.
