Stanmore’s former England Test batsman Mark Ramprakash was overshadowed by Richmond’s Nick Meadows, but had the last laugh at Old Deer Park on Saturday.
Meadows hit 92 - and skipper Kevin Barrett 34 - as the Middlesex County League Premier Division strugglers posted 229 all out in the Middlesex County League Premier Division.
Surrey star Ramprakash, who has more than 100 first class centuries to his name, only managed 20 before falling to Middlesex seamer Robbie Williams.
But he need not have worried as team-mates Jimi Chialoufous (59), Steve Mehra (44) and Marc Reingold (34) saw the visitors home with just five wickets down.
Teddington’s Premier Division title hopes were left in tatters as they were humiliated by Winchmore Hill’s Jamie Thorpe on Saturday.
Thorpe claimed career best figures of 9-17 as the Bushy Park outfit were dismissed for 50, before subsequently falling to a seven wicket away defeat.
Third-bottom Twickenham were again on the wrong end of things at Eastcote on Saturday as they crashed by five wickets.
Batting first, skipper Carlos Nunes (98) and Middlesex batsman Dan Housego (52) had put their side in a good position at 220 for four before the Ts collapsed to 240 all out.
Eastcote opener Will Prowse (97) set the tone at the top of the order in response and found support in Harpal Sagoo (41) and Alan Coleman (40), as the hosts eased to victory with Clint McCabe’s 3-112 the only real highlight.
Barnes’ miserable season continued in Division Three as they crashed by seven wickets against Ickenham on Saturday.
The hosts were bundled out for 116 thanks - largely to 4-33 from Paul Sims - and they saw their total overhauled inside 30 overs.
Fixtures: Twickenham v Teddington, Richmond v Winchmore Hill, Barnes v Harrow St Mary.
