Weybridge slip to surprise defeat against Cheam

Weybridge couldn’t take advantage of Surrey Championship Premier Division leaders Wimbledon’s defeat to Banstead as they slipped to a surprise defeat against bottom-club Cheam on Saturday. Skipper Jimmy Ormond’s men posted 216 all-out thanks to half centuries from Anthony Atkinson (61) and Akbar Ansari (50) at Hanger Hill. But it never looked like being enough as 119 from David Houpapa took Cheam to a comfortable five wicket win from less than 40 overs.
