A stunning batting performance from opening batsman Rodney Mitchell saw Teddington Town through to claim a comprehensive five-wicket victory at home to Reading 3rd XI.
An opening partnership of 75 gave Reading hope of sizable total.
From this position of strength, Town clawed their way back into the game, taking six wickets for 98.
Warren May took 4-100, before the lower-middle-order grabbed some late runs to put a defendable total of 269-7 on the board.
In reply, Teddington Town compiled a large first wicket stand of their own, making 78 before Derek De Goede was caught for 44.
His batting partner, Mitchell, continued to take on the bowling, despite the loss of three quick wickets.
His knock of 154 not out comprised 21 fours and six sixes.
This was enough to see Town pass the runs required with 10 overs to spare.
