Epsom’s Chris Langridge may have won three Commonwealth Games medals, but the badminton star is not resting on his laurels.
The 29-year-old won silver in both the mixed doubles and mixed team events, as well as bronze in the men’s doubles.
Despite finishing runner up in an all-England mixed doubles final with his partner Heather Olver on Sunday, Langridge is heading back into training almost immediately.
He said: “We have got the World Championships in three or four weeks, so there is no rest for the wicked.
“We will head back, maybe have one day off and then get straight back into training.”
He added: “But we’re pleased overall because we’ve played well as a mixed pair, however, we’re gutted that we didn’t have a better game but we have got to pleased with a silver.”
