Bees manager Andy Scott has rapped his players for their worst performance since he took charge in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Lincoln City.

Keeper Simon Brown was at fault for two of the Lincoln goals at Sincil Bank, but Scott was unhappy with the overall performance.

"It was not good enough - we let three poor goals and we didn't create enough," admitted Scott.

"Simon has held his hand up. It was pretty obvious he made the mistake for the first one and I felt the ball went in on his side for the second one. Two errors like that and you're going to struggle to win a game of football.

"But I won't blame individuals. I think as a team we didn't defend well enough and I was very disappointed with our movement up front.

"I think that is the first time since I have been in charge that I have been very disappointed with the way we played.

"We deserved to lose and we let some very poor goals in."

And Scott admitted he is running out of patience at Bees displaying the same failings on a regular basis.

"People can come in after and say sorry, but sorry doesn't get you results," he said.

"We all make mistakes, but it is the same mistakes week in, week out."

The manager felt Bees let down a sizeable travelling support amont the 3,699 attendance at Sincil Bank.

"A few of the things I saw today confirmed what I felt I already knew," Scott added "That is why I am playing the sides that I am and changing things around a bit.

"If I can do it now and this confirms my ideas about certain players, formations and the way we can play then it will benefit it.

"But that doesn't help today when the fans have come all the way from London and see us perform like that.

"It was fantastic support from them but we didn't perform."
