Surrey president Aga Hassan’s team recorded their 11th victory of the season - and sixth in a row - with a 113-104 win against Suffolk at Borough of Eye Bowls Club last week.

Hertfordshire are the only county to have lowered Surrey’s colours in their 12 matches so far.

Although both sides won three rinks, Surrey enjoyed two huge wins to claim overall victory. The rink of Phil Burge (Cheam), Deric Homes (Weybridge), Mike Smith (Croydon) and Jerry Ingham (Ember) won by 30 shots.
