Several Croydon Harriers took to the parkrun circuit on Christmas weekend, writes Matthew Kiernan.
Holly Haile (20:14) won the women’s race at the Christmas Eve Lloyd ParkRun, while training partner Stevie Lawrence (20:50) followed soon after to make it a Croydon one-two.
12 year-old Omar Harhara (22:04) was the first under-14 home in the Christmas Day event at the same venue.
Another podium finish came courtesy of Josie Kavanagh at Roundshaw Downs who was runner-up in 22:47, with Andy Del Nevo (19:10) grabbing third at Nonsuch Park.
Neil Aikman placed 21st in the 125 strong field at Bromley, and four members of the Harrington family were further down the field.
Norman Hemming was also in action at Roundshaw Downs.
Elsewhere, four Harriers took part in the QuadKids multi-event meeting at Tooting Bec.
Gideon Lawson sneaked onto the podium in third, while Joshua Bukare (sixth) and Marcus Stoute (seventh) also placed in the top 10.
