Croydon Harriers honoured retiring chairman and former president Don Webb at the club’s annual presentation dinner at Trinity School on Friday.
Webb joined the Harriers more than 60 years ago and a special film accolade to him was shown to the crowd before he was presented with an engraved tankard to thank him for this contributions.
The club’s top annual award, The Jack Lisney Memorial Salver, went to Colin Oxlade and there were outstanding clubmanship awards presented to Neil Aikmann and Cora Sexton.
Internationals Martyn Rooney and Lawrence Okoye claimed best performance awards on the men’s side, as did Twinelle Hopeson and Shirin Irving on the women’s side.
