Herne Hill Harriers U15 girls team won bronze at the English National Championships last weekend at Donington Park.

There were also fine runs from the U13 girls for fourth place and the U13 boys, who finished sixth.

Topping the club's individual achievements was Alex Brown in the U15s girls team, who covered the 4km course in 16 minutes 15 seconds to claim silver.

The rest of the team were not far behind with Eimear Griffin (17:11) finishing 12th, and Katie Balme (39th, 17:42) and Lily Newton (63rd, 18:06).

In the U13 girls competition over 3km, Harriers had three girls in the top 20 with Lulu King (11th, 14:25), Maisie Collis (14th, 14:29) and Rosie Hammond (18th, 14:30) all running superbly.

Jaden Kennedy clocked 13:08 over 3km to finish 10th in the U13 boys competition, while in the U17 women's team finished 14th.
