Brian Adamson wants Corinthian Casuals to take out their frustration at a lack of games by dragging Eastbourne Town into the relegation fight on Saturday.

Casuals saw their match with Walton Casuals postponed due a waterlogged pitch last weekend and then the game with Chipstead called off on Tuesday as Chips had to play a rescheduled Surrey Senior Cup game.

That means Adamson's side have not played since drawing with leaders Bognor Regis Town on February 19 having enjoyed an upsurge in form of late.

"It is a frustrating time at the moment," said Adamson.

"We have fallen foul of the weather again and it is all stop-start.

"We always seem to build up a momentum and then the snow or the rain or something else comes along and goes against us and we have to start all over again."

Eastbourne are on a poor run of form having lost their last four matches and find themselves just five points ahead of second-bottom Casuals, giving Adamson and co the perfect opportunity to bring another team into the relegation battle.

"We have to play Eastbourne and Godalming twice still and they are game we will be expecting to get something from and drag them into the mix with us.

"Particularly at home we feel we can get points against them.

"Eastbourne have probably got the worse form in the league at the moment so it is a good time to get them."

Next three games: Mar 5 Eastbourne Town (h), 8 Chipstead (h), 12 Godalming Town (a).
