Florent Rossigneaux insists he could not care less who Rosslyn Park meet in their promotion play-off final after the Priory Lane side booked their top-two spot at the weekend.

Park’s 57-17 romp at Canterbury ensured they could not be caught by third-placed Ealing in National League Two South, setting up a one-off decider against North rivals Macclesfield, Caldy or Loughborough Students.

But Rossingeaux reckons Rosslyn should lose no sleep over their opponents for the May 15 clash.

He said: “As far as I am concerned who we play in the play-off does not really matter.

“I do not think we have to worry too much about the opposition, we just need to look after ourselves.

“This is a cup final for us and we only have one shot at it.

“It is all about self belief, not thinking about who you are up against.

“Obviously it makes things a little bit more difficult as I cannot watch videos of the opponents yet but that does not really bother me.”

Park ran in eight tries as they cruised in Kent, with Paul Unseld (three), Steve Pape (two), Rob Jewell, Chris Ritchie and Mark Sweeney crossing the whitewash.

And Rossigneaux feels his side are clicking into gear at just the right time.

He added: “After the Worthing defeat a few weeks ago there was a real realisation among the squad that we needed to step things up.

“The pressure has really been on in the last two games and the players have really responded.

“When they turn it on they really turn it on and it is difficult for people to live with them.

“The players have really bonded as a group.

“They have become very clinical and we have an edge at the moment that we have to take into that play-off game.”
