SNOOKER: In the Epsom and District Snooker League, Sutton A and B are battling it out at the top of the Premiership with New Malden's Grafton Club.
Sutton A drew with Grafton but Grafton stayed four points clear at the top of the table.
Solid victories
SQUASH: New Malden Squash Club men's first team started the year with two 3-2 victories. The first was over Colets (Thames Ditton), the second was against Wimbledon.
Rolled over
SKATER HOCKEY: Beverley Bulldogs brought Folkestone Flyers down to earth with a bang in a 10-2 victory at Hastings.
New chairman
SOCCER: Peter Haworth is the new chairman of Cobham FC. He takes over from Eric Dawson Strange, who remains as president of the club and carries out the duties of treasurer.
