Harlequins number eight Nick Easter has been called up to the England Rugby World Cup squad.
The 37-year-old has been drafted in following an injury to Billy Vunipola in Saturday's defeat to Wales.
The Saracens man was rated as 50-50 for the Australia game this weekend, but a scan on his knee has ruled him out.
World Cup Rugby: Quins' Easter is ready to answer England call in wake of injuries
England head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "It's so unfortunate for Billy but the scan shows an injury which means he can't take any further part in the World Cup."
Easter, who is also head coach at Wimbledon RFC, only just missed out on selection for the original world cup squad, and spoke last week about being ready to step up should he be needed.
