Leatherhead boss Richard Brady opens up on his firsts including the first time he’d had one too many.

First car: I bought a Fiesta Zetec 1.6l – it was brand new off the shop forecourt and cost me £10,000 cash. I was on the books at QPR, and I got two years free insurance. I soon upgraded to a Merc.

First FA Cup final memory: Liverpool 0-1 Wimbledon, I watched at home while my dad and brother, who are big Liverpool fans, went to the game.

First hero: Ryan Giggs. People forget he was a 17-year-old lad making his debut in the Premier League, he was immense. The way he went past people with the ball, he was a modern day George Best.

First lads’ holiday: I went to Magaluf as a 23-year-old. Because of being at QPR I never really started anything like that until a little later than most. I don’t remember a lot of it, other than finding loads of rubble in my bag when I got home after a practical joke. Ha ha.

First medal: I was top goal-scorer for Sutton Dynamo U7s. The manager told everyone to pass to me and I would nearly always score – that was for about three years on the spin.

First pin-up: It was either Pamela Anderson, in her classic Baywatch swimsuit, or Cindy Crawford.

First date: It was at a school disco with a girl called Kimberley.

First time drunk: At 22 – again, I started late, but my dad will tell you I made up for lost time. We used to go to The Venue in New Cross, we called it The Seven Floors of Whores.
