Plan of attack: Mark Warburton

Brentford manager Mark Warburton says his side will attack Bournemouth when the sides meet in the Championship tomorrow.

In the season’s opener against Charlton Athletic, Warburton saw his team rescue a point thanks to a late goal from Tommy Smith.

He takes his squad to the south coast looking to emulate the success the Bees had on the road last year – losing just five matches all season.

And Warburton will not be looking to change the winning formula.

“People ask if I change my style in away games – if it works for you at home why wouldn’t it work away from home? We look to impose our style of play on teams.

“The Championship offers some great stadiums and great playing surfaces.

“It’s up to us to go there and the play the game in the manor we want to play it.

“For us it’s about going away and attacking teams and posing questions – that always been our way.

“Brentford have got a good attacking philosophy, why go there and defend?

“We have not got the players who are naturally going to be defensive, we’ve got players who want to go and attack.”
