Hampton & Richmond Borough chairman Steve MacPherson is hoping to complete deals for two more new faces to complete the Beavers’ squad for the forthcoming Ryman Premier League campaign.
Joint managers Paul Barry and Darren Powell have completed a raft of signings in the last seven days, which has seen the return of cultured defender Max Hustwick to Station Road.
Ex-Brentford midfielder Karle Carder confirmed a new deal this week, while midfielder pair Michael Bryan and Jesse Kewley-Graham have arrived from Hendon and Wycombe Wanderers respectively.
The news tempers the departures of Tom Hickey and Joe Turner to Conference Sout- bound Wealdstone.
MacPherson has been delighted with the business already completed prior to the squads return to pre-season training.
And he admitted Powell and Barry were not done yet.
“Paul and Darren have made some excellent signings,” he said.
“There are two more we are currently in negotiations with, which we hope will complete the squad."
