Sutton boxer Cassius Connor says he will fight anyone put in front of him as he prepares for a shot at the lightweight British Masters bronze title.

The 27-year-old is in confident mood after a points victory in April over Arek Malek ended a run of back-to-back defeats for the former Prizefighter finalist.

Connor, the 2012 British Masters welterweight champion, is in bullish mood about his chances of adding Kristian Dochev's scalp to his name when the pair meet on July 12.

He said: "I'll fight anyone you put in front of me. My weight is the lowest it has ever been this far out from fight night.

"This is going be the best Danny Cassius Connor anybody has ever seen, I promise you."

Connor, who has dropped from light welterweight for the bout, added "It feels like a fresh start for me and a chance to put right a few wrongs.

"I'm strong at light welter and will be a monster at lightweight and can't wait to stamp my authority and make a name for myself."
