Lisa Harris and Sophie Bates made it a Croydon Harriers one-two in the women’s race at the Streets Ahead Croydon half-marathon.

Clubmate Sophie Bates was a comfortable runner up, by a near three-minute margin, in 1.29:40, eclipsing her previous best by more then three minutes. Lisa Rooney from Collingwood AC came in third in 1.32:37.

In the men’s race, Kevin Quinn, pictured, ran 1.13:43, almost five minutes ahead of rvial Pawel Grygo in second (1.18:08), who was then closely followed by Dan Gaffney (1.18:30).

For the Harriers, David Brown led the charge in 14th, clocking 1.22:52, with Brendan Murphy on his coat-tails in 1.22.53.
