A pair of Croydon Harriers heroes scooped medals against the best in the South of England Athletic Association indoor championships.
Obi Onyekwe won silver in the U15 boys hurdles, clocking 9.03 seconds, and Ashleigh Clarke’s 7.81secs scooped a bronze medal in the U17 women’s 60m.
Damien Powell and Aaron Adekoya reached the semi-final of the U20 men’s 60m, while Daniel Luke recorded 7.24secs in the U17 men’s 60m.
Oweka Wanogho went under the seven-second barrier in the men’s event, but missed out on the final.
Also at the semi-final stage of the U17s sprint hurdles, Robert Sakala and Sonyce Archer ran life-time bests of 8.47secs and 9.29secs respectively.
Another sprint hurdler Taylor Campbell finished fifth in the U17 women’s final clocking a personal best of 9.25secs.
