London Scottish new-boy Dante Mama insists he will not reveal any trade secrets when his new side take on former club London Welsh in the Championship on Saturday.

The 23-year-old joined Scottish on Monday after his short-term contract expired at Welsh.

“I have the utmost respect for London Welsh,” said Mama.

“I got on very well with all the coaches and players and loved my time there.

“I promised my coaches there that I wouldn’t give up their moves and I will keep to my word.

“I was waiting for a new contract, but it didn’t come and James Buckland stepped in. I have only been down a few days.

“But the lads have made me feel really welcome.”

Scottish also announced a swoop for 29-year-old Esher scrum half Robbie Shaw – who has spent the last fortnight on trial at the Athletic Ground – but the move collapsed on Thursday.
