Children and teenagers have shown some magnificent moves in an annual Wimbledon dance festival.
Pupils from seven Merton schools took part in Step into Dance at Ricards Lodge secondary school in Lake Road, Wimbledon last Tuesday.
A spokesman for the event said: “Each school in Merton performed their own dance, from traditional jazz to hip hop freestyle, with all routines produced and choreographed by students under the guidance of the Royal Academy of Dance.
"Special guest stars were students from the London Oratory who entertained us with an amazing freestyle routine.
“The performances were the culmination of weeks of hard work from everyone involved and the end result was a fabulous evening enjoyed by all.”
