The St Margarets Fair is a fantastic day out for the local community during the height of summer. It has been running for over thirty years and is entirely organized by local volunteers.
Held on Moormead, it is a day jam packed full of fun that will keep you thoroughly entertained with an array of live music is on the Main Stage throughout the day. There will be stalls throughout the park, from local businesses and charities. There is plenty of entertainment for kids - with rides and games and sporting events through the day - with football competitions, dancing and other displays
Should you get hungry or thirsty, there are lots of food and drink stalls, including a Tea Tent, Beer Tent, Pimms Stall and BBQ - all run by the Fair organisers with all profits going straight to local charities and schools.
And of course, who could forget the legendary Dog Show on little Moormead across Hillview Road (including the sausage eating competition).
