For many years I have been looking for a photo of Hector Vivian Frances Archer, he was the second pilot of B-24 Liberator Serial LV341 of No. 120 Squadron RAF Coastal Command which crashed into the Atlantic on 13th August 1942. The aircraft carried a crew of eight, four were killed and four survived, Archer was one of those who survived the crash.  Please see the details I have re Archer below.

Sgt Hector Vivian Francis ARCHER 1287321 (Second Pilot), Survived the ditching of Liberator LV341 but was killed with 224 Squadron when Liberator BZ713 was shot down on 30 May 1943 by German heavy fighters. Son of Francis and Florence Archer of Twickenham. Middlesex and was 32 at the time of his death.

I believe the family lived at one time at 58 Morley Rd, Twickenham and as there are still quite a few families with the name Archer living in the Twickenham area would it be possible for your paper to print a request for help in this search?
