Citizens Advice Richmond is increasing its opening hours and access to the telephone helpline at the Twickenham and Sheen bureaux, to ensure that the clients of the service get the help they need.

The two main hub bureaux at Sheen and Twickenham will have longer opening hours, more appointments and more specialist services to meet the needs of the community. From 6 February 2017, the drop-in service across the two bureaux will increase by 7.5 hours a week and there will be 4 more hours of telephone advice available.

The service effectively becomes an all-day session from 10-4pm on alternating days at Sheen and Twickenham from Monday to Thursday with an extended morning session at Twickenham on Friday.

Simon Lawson, Chief executive of Citizens Advice Richmond, said: “We recognise the need to reach all sections of our community to provide a quality, independent, confidential advice service. Recent changes in legislation and an uncertain economic outlook means we are helping people with more complex issues such as debt, welfare benefits, employment and housing advice. Citizens Advice Richmond is now able to offer local residents more time to get to us for help and more capacity to have their issues resolved sooner.”
