The Band of the Middlesex Yeomanry, formerly the Duke of Cambridge’s Hussars, buoyed by a letter of support and good wishes from the current Duke, Prince William, played a festive Christmas programme at Hampton’s White House.
Chelsea pensioners, Trevor Rafferty and John Westlake together with the Mayor of Richmond, Cllr David Linnette and members of the Middlesex Yeomanry Association, joined a full hall at the White House, Hampton, in a concert raising funds for the local Community Association.
Everyone enjoyed the singing of carols ably led by ladies of the Thameside Harmony Chorus whose own concert had been postponed due to ill health.
The Band can be heard again on 23rd April at the White House in “Spring At The Movies” and in Bushy Park on Chestnut Sunday, 14th May, 2017
