RECYCLING CHRISTMAS Richmond upon Thames residents can leave their tree out any time until January 30. The council’s Green Waste collection service will take them away for composting. Christmas trees can also be taken to the Reuse and Recycling Centre in Townmead Road, Kew, Squires Garden Centre in Sixth Cross Road, Twickenham, or to the Wickes car park in South Road, Twickenham. Wrapping paper and cardboard, including Christmas cards, should go in your blue recycling box - but no foil papers or decorations. Glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles, cans, foil and aerosols can go in the black box – but no other plastics or cartons.
