10:30am Monday 2nd July 2012 in Richmond News By Rachel Bishop
New flag: Strawberry Hill House
A newly-designed flag was raised on the round tower of Strawberry Hill House to celebrate the news the Strawberry Hill Trust had received Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) support for phase two of the restoration of the house and grounds.
The project aims to restore the five remaining rooms which were not completed in the 2010 restoration, and to launch a new public programme, Walpole and the Wider World.
