The final of the entrepreneurial skills competition, Richmond Den, is approaching fast.

Twelve hopefuls have been selected from 95 entries to battle it out for a place in the live grand final of the competition to find Richmond’s next top entrepreneur.

They will have a face-off with judges at the American International University in London, Richmond Hill, on Thursday, June 28.

Business experts are currently whittling down the 12 semi-finalists to find a trio of hopeful entrepreneurs who will present their business plans to a panel of business dragons.

Richmond Den is a joint venture between the council and Richmond Social Enterprise Partnership.

The winner will be selected at the live final by judges, broadcaster Sir Trevor McDonald, Big Issue founder John Bird and Richmond Park MP Zac Goldsmith MP.

They will receive a £10,000 prize pot to help launch their business idea and will receive one-to-one mentoring advice from the chamber of commerce.
