The designs for North Sheen station’s new footbridge are set to go on show to the public.
Images of the proposed new footbridge will be unveiled by Network Rail on Friday, February 10, ahead of being submitted as a planning application to Richmond Council.
Entitled Tree Top Walkway, the structure was designed by local resident Stephen Speak following a public competition hosted by Richmond Park MP Zac Goldsmith and worked on with Network Rail to create a feasible design.
Councillor Katharine Harborne, north Richmond ward, said: “I am delighted with this revised design it is what residents voted for a well designed low impact bridge - something we can all be proud of for years to come.
“I can't thank Network Rail enough for really working with us and listening to our community.”
The revised scheme plans will be on display at Holy Trinity School between 1 pm and 3pm, and Calvert Court, Manor Park, Richmond, between 10am and noon.

The Liberals removed the station footbridge many years ago with the promise of a new one which never materialized.
During my time as a councillor for North Richmond ward with my colleague Tony Tresigne, we tried to persuade the authorities to do something to replace the footbridge- to no avail.
It is therefore refreshing to see that the 3 new Tory councillors, Cllrs Blakemore, Harborne and Montague have actually been able to achieve a result with the inspiration and great support of local MP Zac Goldsmith. It is their efforts which have now been rewarded. Well done all round!
