A career in acting could be on the cards for one Hampton Boys school student after he secured himself a place to study drama at York university.
Rory Mercer, 18, of Darby Gardens, Sunbury, got 2 A*s, an A and a B.
He said: “I didn’t expect to get two A*s , I’m just waiting to party at my friends 18th tonight.
“I’ll see what happens after university but if I can get a job working in theatres that would be great.”
Setting his sights on Oxford
Getting into Oxford university has made one student’s dreams come true after he secured himself a place to study classics at the world class university.
Diran Bodossian, 18, of Lower Richmond Road was very excited when he picked up his results from Hampton Boys school on Thursday, August 18.
He said: “It was really good and pretty much what I expected - I got two A*s and an A.
“It just felt like several hours of nervous tension had just disappeared [when I found out] and I am really really happy.”
