A teenager has admitted stabbing a man four times on a Twickenham housing estate.
The 17-year-old will be sentenced at the Old Bailey next Friday for the attack on a 29-year-old man in the Edgar Road estate on June 30.
The victim of the attack suffered several serious injuries, including one stab wound close to his heart, and was taken to West Middlesex Hospital.
He was then airlifted to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
Senior investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stuart McNaughton said: “This was a violent and unprovoked attack which resulted in the victim sustaining life threatening injuries.”
The teenager pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent.
