Sci-fi fans are in for a treat when a former Doctor Who star helps turn on Teddington’s Christmas lights.
The mayor of Richmond, Councillor Helen Lee-Parsons, will be assisted by actor Peter Davison, who played the fifth Doctor in the BBC series, in switching on the lights on November 27.
He will be joined by Olympic gold medal-winning oarsman Andrew Triggs-Hodge from Molesey Boat Club.
The evening’s entertainment will begin at 6pm outside Elmfield House on the corner of High Street and Waldegrave Road. There will also be a raffle and face painting from 4pm.
